MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Memorial Day weekend was mom and my first full weekend to bond and train together...so we spent lots of time relaxing on the couch together (lots of belly rubs) and also lots of training....we practiced her cell phone and now I take her to it almost wherever it is in the house! Also even though we have not officially trained the door knock or doorbell yet, mom was chatting away on the phone one day while we were on the couch and someone came to the door... I jumped off the couch and looked at mom and she looked at me kinda like "what is going on?" and then I heard the sound again and went to the door and looked at mom.. so mom stood up still chatting and noticed there was someone at the door! She was so excited and told me good girl and gave me a jackpot of kibble for alerting her....and then I stayed down while she answered it.

We spent all day Monday at Gramma and Grampa Farstad's house since mom and Gramma were working on Aunt Cyndee's baby shower coming up this weekend. Gramma is starting to get really comfortable with me.. she has always been afraid of dogs but with me she realizes not all of us are so bad...so we started our own bonding and of course Grampa just loves me. Uncle Scott (mom's brother) and Aunt Cyndee came by too so I got to meet the whole family. They think I am just fantastic and even at Gramma and Grampa's house... I alerted mom to her cell phone ringing!!
