Camp and Hospital

CAMP PICTURES....

Me at nature camp with mom's two year old class!

Mom, Lisa and I spent this past week at nature camp, which is a one week camp for the preschool kids. Mom's class is two year olds and it was HOOOOTTT this week.... 105 on some days! We stayed in the shade for the most part and had lots of water fun each day to keep cool. The preschool camp was in the mornings and then after a short lunch we went to the city camp and cooled off in the office... I was exhausted from the hot two's nature camp each day that I snored really loud a few times in mom's city office! In the evenings mom would go out to where the kids were and bring me and the kids just loved me and one time mom walked out to chat real quick to a counselor while I stayed in her office and the kids were all asking "where is poppy???" They just love me :) Mom was so impressed with me one day...(of course when is she not!), however she has a walkie talkie for camp that they use to communicate and she did not really train me on it since they don't use it that often with mom...but one night she was home and the walkie talkie was in the kitchen table and she was in her office in the house and one of the counselors was trying to reach her by calling her name and making music alerts on the walkie talkie.. Well I just went to her office and alerted her and took her to the kitchen area and she was sooooo surprised that I alerted her to that sound!! A sound that I have not even been trained to get her for.. But I just new she needed to get to that walkie talkie to help the counselor! We are very glad that nature camp is now over and we will now start working full time at the city (mostly in the office--ahhh air conditioning!) for the next 5 weeks. We were supposed to go to Disneyland the week of July 1st but with the twins complications we decided to postpone to maybe August so instead I will be in the Morgan hill 4th of July parade with the city camp kids, mom and Lisa!! Will share pics of that too!

In the hospital

We visited aunt cyndee in the hospital many times and then she got to go home Friday but then Saturday morning she started having complications again and wound up back in the hospital so we went and saw her again today... Saturday. We just keep praying that the babies will hold on a few more weeks until it is time to be born.

Well we are off for our evening walk...

Keys, Go Gets, work, and cousin updates!

Poppy getting mom's keys!!

I have been doing a great job picking up mom's keys whenever she "drops" them. Wherever she is and whatever room she is in, if she drops her keys.. i just pick them up and keep following her.. she gets soooooo excited when she realizes she "dropped" her keys!!

I am learning to "go get Lisa!" I have been doing such a great job "go getting mom" that we started working on go get lisa. Mom uses the "L" sign and says go get lisa and i run to lisa and bring her back to mom!!

I have now officially worked my first two full weeks of 20 hours each.. my first 40 hours of work these past two weeks at the city. They are starting to fall in love with me there... who'da guess??!! Next week will be an adventure.. two camps!! First nature camp in the morning with the preschool and then city camp in the afternoon for the city...i will be outside with the 2 year old class with mom for the preschool and in the office hanging out and also visiting the kids in the afternoon city camp. Will let you know how the week goes with pictures!

My aunt cyndee and uncle scott have been in the hospital the past two days...my cousin twins who are inside aunt cyndee's tummy have really good heartbeats, but aunt cyndee started bleeding and having contractions and they are only 7 months and just too tiny to come out yet. So we visited uncle scott and aunt cyndee in the hospital and are praying that the babies and aunt cyndee will be OK and get to come home soon and have bed rest until it is time for the cousins to come out of her tummy. Will keep you all posted on my cousin twins!!

Poppy and Midnight

Poppy and Midnight

As you can see above, Midnight is finally starting to be real comfortable with me, this is the cat that hissed at me when i first came home.. now he is sharing the couch with me! I am sure it has more to do with the nice long pillow mom put on the couch more than me. :)

LISA'S GRAD PARTY/BABIES

Lisa's 6th Grade Grad Party at Thousand Trails!!

Me looking "cool"

Lisa 2006 GRAD!!

Mom, Lisa and I all went to lisa's GRAD PARTY for all the 6th graders at her school.. they do not have a formal graduation from elementary school (mom was sad about this), but they did have a party with a DJ, Dancing, Swimming, Food and lots of fun. I hung out in the shade, played with my toys, and cooled off watching the kids in the pool. It was a lot of fun for all of us and of cours everyone just loved me and we are all very proud of lisa's accomplishments this year, as we all know how hard the few weeks that she was in training with me were to get all the school work done.

This weekend we hosted Aunt Cyndees baby shower at Gramma and Grampa's house.. there were over 25 women who just awwwweeedd and loved me and looked at my wonderful baby book. I was fantasticly quiet and good and alerted mom when i had to use the bathroom!!! We also went and saw Uncle Scott and Aunt cyndee's babies on a 4D fetal monitor show with the entire family, got to see the babies and one of them moved his/her head and smiled at us.. it was pretty amazing to watch. Then Gramma and Grampa, mom, Lisa and I went to Applebees, our first "restaurant" outing since being home... the waitress thought i was just so cute and we got a concerned look from the table next to us when we walked in, but after a while of them seeing me under the table behaving so well.. they were amazed.. as were Gramma and Grampa!!
